K4 field trip!!

Dominic and Daisy spend ALOT of time together, they sit at the same table and are both in after school care, so its a good thing they get along.
dominic abandoned the idea of taking this pumpkin home after being told HE would have to carry it, mud and all, back to the hay wagon. the one he did pick is about as big as a grapefruit.
the kids begged all my quarters off of me so they could buy cracked corn to feed the chickens.
and here they are, theres only 3 kids looking at the camera.

This weekend we made it out for our pumpkin farm visit. Dominic made sure to bring his ruler to measure for just the right ones.

Sparklers!

Dominic was thrilled to handle his first sparklers this week.

As his last few were lit he began running circles on the porch making engine noises and saying "Daddy! I'm a rocket!"

Dominic took his annual trip to the hickory creek Easter egg hunt on Saturday. When he saw the inflatable bounce house, he knew where to find the fun.

dominic was told to go look at himself when he was done.

Today was the first day that the boy was able to get into our tree in the front yard on his own. To which he exclaimed, "Hey Mommy, Hey Daddy! I'm a monkey in a tree!" Then he made his monkey sounds.

due to the cold weather , we decided staying inside was the best option for yesterday (and today). we found some fun things to do anyway. play doh, puzzles, house cleaning (what? thats not fun!) and tent making.
